Succot 2009

Hey, everybody! Here's some pictures from Succot 2009 in Lake Lure, NC. They're a little overdue. Notice my emphasis on "little". . . Okay, we actually went camping the first two weeks of October, so I guess "little" is an under statement. Anyway, thought you might enjoy seeing pictures of what we did during our trip!

The campground's fishing pond

Looks like someone caught a fish!

Can I eat it?

There's nothing like a good roll. . .

Okay, I have something that I want to point out to every pet owner who takes pictures or their dog. You know how sometimes, when someone takes a picture of you, the camera does something funny? Like makes your hair look terrible, or makes your nose look big? Well, the camera does weird stuff like that to us dogs too. Take this picture, for instance.

Anyone who saw this picture without an explanation might think that they're breeding a new type of dog by crossing a canine with some sort of giraffe. Is there no one who thinks I have a long neck in this picture? Anyone? Well, like I said, the camera does things to us.
Crazy ears!

This year, we didn't have near as many dogs as we did last year. But most of my pals were still there. . .
Honey, are you there?

Honey!

This is Sophie, Anna Marie's friend's dog.

Let's just say that when we first met, we butted heads. I guess I wasn't Mr. Cooperative. But after a little while, I think we got used to each other. The only problem was that every time we saw each other we got really hyper. Some day, we're going to get together some place where we can run around (there's no place in the camp for dogs off-leash). But you can't blame us, can you? We just wanted to play! Even if in the meantime we tangled up our owners in our leashes. . .

We had a great time. Hope you liked the pictures. I know I say it every time, but I hope to get back to blogging soon! Until next time!

New Patio

Hey, everyone, thought I'd post a few pics of our new patio. Can you believe it? Bandit and I couldn't go out for weeks because the workers were out there replacing the screens with glass.

The finished product...

Once it was finished, Bandit and I spent the whole day out on the patio...

Meanwhile, summer's come to an end, and everyone (including my owner) has plunged back into the school year. I hope everyone had a great summer; I know I did! Have a great school year!

Camping Trip

Well, summer's end is getting closer, and it's been a hectic two months! At least for us. So what better way to relax then a camping trip over the weekend!
Hanging out at our campsite

Is it cold?

I found a walnut by the creek, and it looked like it was fun to play with. Needless to say, I...went a little nuts...

Have a great rest of the summer!

A Day at Patriot's Park

Hi, everyone! The other day, Anna Marie and her family took me to a little park downtown...

Called Patriot's Park, it's a great little place to hang out and pack a picnic lunch to eat under the nice pavilion.

And even though I'm not too fond of getting my paws wet, it was nice to cool off in the jumping water.

So many smells...

So there we were, having a great time, when the clock on top of the pavilion went off. Everyone seemed to think it was really neat, but I thought it was LOUD and SCARY!

Whew, I'm bushed...

We had a great time, minus the creepy clock. It's nice to get out every once and a while! We're hoping to do a whole lot more of this kind of stuff this summer.

Fun, fun, fun! Stay tuned for more summer adventures! ;)

We're Back!

Hi, everyone, as you can see, we're back on blogger! For some strange reason, every time we would try to get on, it would let us log in, but then our computer would pull up a blank screen. Did anyone else have that problem a while back? The rest of the time it was just us being lazy...really lazy...I can't believe it's May already! :)

Since our last post (Snow Day), Anna Marie's been busy. Along with Sophia and Midnight, she's rescued and found homes for 5 cats! You can go to Bandit's blog to read more about it.

Like I said in the last post, our snow day was a bit of a bummer; all of it melted by that afternoon. Even though winter was almost over, we really really hoped it would snow again. Well guess what happened on the 2nd of March...

SNOW!!! And lots of it...

How pretty....

Brrrrr...cold butt!

Ooh, look who came over to play!

Honey!!!!

Playing in the snow...

Look, what's that?

Off into the sunset...or daylight anyway...

Other than that, things have been pretty normal around here. The weather's really starting to warm up...we're all looking forward to the summer! ;)

Snow Day!!!!!!!!

Yep, you guessed it, today it SNOWED! Only about 2 or 3 inches, but it was still snow! Anna Marie woke up at about 8:00, and the snow was really falling!

video

I couldn't wait to go outside. Snow is SO fun. I especially love chasing snowballs, although it's annoying when you try to catch them they break apart into millions of flurries! Right now, we've come in for lunch, and I hope we'll go out later; before it all melts!

Pictures

What's with the shirt?! Anna Marie's mom was trying to keep me warm, but I've got thick coat. Good thing too, it saves me the embarrassment!

Two things snow is great for: Running and Digging!

My stick!

Snowy face!

I'm FLYING!

Give me the snowball!
